Sydney Fess
Our Hockey Hut Hall of Famer this month is Sydney Fess, who is playing for North American Hockey Academy and is currently committed to Boston College. Sydney spent most of her downtime in the summers working on her game physically, mentally, and tactically. During the season she was fortunate enough to play with great players that pushed her on and off the ice every day to help get her to where she is now.
Sydney tells us “ The Hockey Hut gave me a comfortable environment where I could push myself and not have the fear of failing, so I could push myself to be a better player. The coaches worked with me and used specific details and skills for my style of play to improve my skating, stick handling, and shooting.”
Ron says “Syd is one of the hardest working most committed hockey players I have ever been around. Her commitment at home and away from the rink is just as big as when she is on the ice working on her skills. She truly does all the little things to get better, especially when nobody’s watching. She’s at Boston College for all the right reasons, and we are proud to have been a small part of her journey here at the Hockey Hut”
We’re so proud to see Sydney continue to maximize her athletic development and keep reaching new goals!
