The Hockey Hut Summer Camps are the best place to maximize your athletes athletic development! We have created the ultimate schedule for each day to maximize each player’s development! Players will get: Over 10 hours of professional on-ice instruction, Skill specific of ice training, Hockey IQ video sessions, Physical Training and a fun, competitive environment! This all inclusive schedule will allow your player to get the most out of each day!
Mite Mania Camp (Round 1)

Kick off your summer with Mite Mania, the perfect foundational skill development camp for players 8 years old and under! Running from Friday, June 27, through Monday, June 30, this camp is timed perfectly to start the summer strong before the 4th of July festivities.
Mite Mania focuses on essential hockey skills, including proper body positioning, edge control, balance, and stride development for both forward and backward skating. Young players will also work on puck skills and shooting technique in a fun and supportive environment. This camp is ideal for beginners or players looking to build a solid foundation while enjoying a memorable start to the summer!

Shooting Camp

This full-day camp (8 AM – 4 PM) is designed to elevate players’ skills both on and off the ice. Campers will master shooting techniques, including wrist shots, snapshots, slap shots, and backhands, with a focus on generating velocity, accuracy, and creating deceptive angles. Players will learn to identify targets with heads-up play and score while driving power through every shot.
In addition to on-ice training, the camp features shooting and stickhandling stations, targeted workouts, and video analysis to study and replicate the techniques of top-level athletes. With NCAA, ACHA, and junior-level counselors working alongside our experienced Hockey Hut staff, this camp offers an engaging and comprehensive experience to build confidence, enhance hockey IQ, and take your game to the next level!

Bantam Transition Camp

This full-day camp (8 AM – 4 PM) is specifically designed to prepare players for the transition into Bantam-level hockey, where body contact becomes an integral part of the game. Our comprehensive program focuses on developing essential skills such as angling, stick checking, body positioning, and safe body checking techniques. Through a combination of on-ice drills and off-ice training, players will build confidence and competence in physical play, ensuring they are ready to compete safely and effectively at the Bantam level.
Our experienced coaching staff, including NCAA, ACHA, and junior-level counselors, will guide players through progressive drills that emphasize balance, agility, and proper technique in both delivering and receiving body contact. Off-ice sessions will include video analysis to study and replicate effective body contact strategies, as well as targeted workouts to enhance strength and conditioning. This camp offers a supportive and educational environment for players to develop the skills necessary for a successful transition to Bantam hockey.

Scoring sessions will focus on shooting with power, accuracy, and creativity, emphasizing heads-up play, changing angles, and finishing under pressure.
The program also includes off-ice training, such as stickhandling stations, shooting drills, video analysis, and targeted workouts to reinforce on-ice skills. Led by our experienced Hockey Hut staff and top-level counselors from NCAA, ACHA, and junior hockey, this camp offers the tools to dominate puck possession and become a consistent scoring threat.

This camp will help teach you the art of scoring goals and playing an offensive game from any position. Drills will focus on shooting, dekes, patience in front of the net, and goal scoring areas around the net. Defense Camp

Campers will focus on the core skills every elite defenseman needs, including backward skating, gap control, angling, and defensive positioning. On-ice sessions will emphasize puck movement, escape techniques, shooting from the blue line, and battling in tight areas. Off-ice training will include video analysis, targeted workouts, and drills to develop strength, agility, and hockey IQ.

As summer wraps up, this half-day camp (8 AM – 1 PM) is the perfect way for young players to sharpen their skills before the new season begins. Focused on the fundamentals, this camp will help Mite players improve their skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting—all while having fun and staying engaged.
Players will work on refining their skating technique, edge work, and balance, while also enhancing puck control, passing accuracy, and shooting precision. The camp will include small-area games and competitive drills to build confidence and teach players to apply their skills in game-like situations.
With a mix of on-ice and off-ice training, including fun team challenges and workouts to boost agility and strength, Mite Mania is the ideal way to cap off the summer and get your child ready for the season ahead!
