Kevin Valenti

Kevin Valenti

Our Hockey Hut Hall of Famer this month is Kevin Valenti, who played 4 years of Division 3 hockey for Utica College. After graduating in 2018 he played Jrs for the Northern Cyclones! When asked what he believes got him to that level of hockey, Kevin said “ Hard work would be the most obvious answer but I think being able to step outside of your comfort zone is what takes players far.”

The Hockey Hut was a big part of Kevin’s life, pointing out that he is one of the Hockey Hut’s early members as he started at the Hut in 2002. “ I started skating with Ron when I was 9 and continued until I graduated College. He had a big impact in molding me into the player I was. He was honest and really harped on playing to my strengths. He always kept it fun but serious at the same time. I am very grateful for the time I got to spend on the ice with Ron!”

Ron says “Kevin was always one of the most skilled players and creative players I had the pleasure of working with. You could always count on him to compete through every drill as well as every game. He went on to have a wonderful hockey career at Utica College and we are so proud to be a small part of his journey. Well Done KV!”

We’re so proud of Kevin’s hockey career and are glad we got to be a part of it! Congratulations!
