Simply put, ball hockey is hockey on feet. No ice skates, no roller skates, no ice. It’s played on a surface called Sport Court. All you need is gloves, stick, a helmet, shin pads, and a pair of running shoes or basketball shoes and you’re good to go! Our fast-paced, fun PHL runs during the months of March & April. The divisions are 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U/16U. Each division is open to 8 full teams. Players may register as a full team or individually (staff will place on a team).

Goalies are used in each division (except 6U). Each player will play 10 games. This league is about fun and creativity as a player and creates healthy competition each game.

1) How long are the PHL games?

A: One 40 minute game that will be run time unless there is a penalty.

2) What nights do I play?

A: Our full PHL schedule will be sent out two weeks prior to the start date.

3) Can I put my team together or do I register my son/daughter individually?

A: Players may register individually or as a full team for our league. One parent may collect all payments and forms for the team registration, or our HHTC staff will collect as well.

4) Are their coaches for the teams?

A: Our league runs in the off-season so unfortunately one parent may provide positive feedback to players from the bench. If the parent decides to run lines, or aggressively coach they will be asked to leave the bench.
